Christopher Gasper is an emerging artist and has been an avid informal student of art and art history for more than 20 years.
In 2019 he founded Christopher Gasper Artworks, where he works from his studio, managing business and creating new artworks for sale, commissions, and future exhibitions.
Since 2014, Christopher has been making art relating to Post Personalism, a contemporary art movement that engages awakening concepts in relation to human identify and artistic creativity.
He also served on the Board of Directors for Sand Point Arts and Cultural Exchange (2014-2018) and was Exhibitions Committee Chair (2016-17). In this role he lead the committee on exhibition policy and procedures, show themes, educational programming and promotional assets. He was also involved with curating and installing shows and produced videos that promoted the art exhibitions and artists showing at the gallery.
Christopher earned BA at UMASS Boston (1985-90) majoring in studio art. Additional schooling includes stints at the Academy Art University in San Francisco, CA (1995-96) studying illustration and Merritt College in Oakland, CA (2011-12) studying painting and art history.
