Post Personalism
ABOUT
The Post Personalism Project communicates artistic themes relating to the evolution of human consciousness. The idea that humanity is gradually moving out of the egocentric stage and into a non-egoic stage is at the center of the work. The non-egoic stage is an emerging new consciousness. Post Personalism uses art forms to communicate attributes of the emerging new consciousness. The Post Personalism project has been ongoing since 2014. To learn more, visit PostPersonalism.com.

The Lemon Project
I'm choosing a lemon as my subject matter and it is used as a metaphor for consciousness. In each piece, the lemon symbolizes the “light of consciousness” which can also be interpreted as “awakening”. Lemons are a traditional symbol of sour disappointment on the one hand, and inner cleansing on the other. I'm working to convey this duality as it relates to human consciousness. My goal is to explore the great mystery of how consciousness expresses through us artistically. This project is still a work in progress.

Playful Innocence Series
This series explores playful innocence from an adult point of view. Typically these words are associated with child like behavior but this work shifts that kind of thinking. These pieces have an intelligent meaning underneath their child like surface.
.
Through innocent characters, playful objects, engaging colors and simple compositions, each painting contains a whimsical daydream-like story about true consciousness and points to some level of the joy and peace it brings.
Adult generic figures are the primary subject and lack any physical identity to symbolize the absence of ego. They are set with innocent animal figures and random objects to convey a playful interaction with life. The action of accepting each moment in this context, is considered a form of play and intelligent innocence.
Other artists that have explored playful innocence in some fashion are Alexander Calder, Keith Haring, Paul Klee and Henri Matisse.
