I am an emerging artist. I have been an avid informal student of art and art history for more than 20 years. 

 

Exhibitions and Related Activities

Since 2014, I have been making art relating to Post Personalism, a contemporary art movement that engages awakening concepts in relation to human identify and artistic creativity.

 

I also serve on the Board of Directors for Sand Point Arts and Cultural Exchange (2014-Present) and have served as the Exhibitions Committee Chair (2016-17). In this role I lead the committee on exhibition policy and procedures, show themes, educational programming and promotional assets. I was also involved with curating and installing shows and produced videos that promoted the art exhibitions and artists showing at the gallery. Also noteworthy:

 

  • I am an artist member of CoCA (Center of Contemporary Art) located in Seattle. 

  • In 2016 and 2017 I was an exhibiting artist in the Phinney Ridge Art Walk, in Seattle.

  • In 2016 and  2017 I participated a Pike Place Market group show, in Seattle.

Education

Earned BA at UMASS Boston (1985-90) majoring in studio art. Additional schooling includes stints at the Academy Art University in San Francisco, CA (1995-96) studying illustration and Merritt College in Oakland, CA (2011-12) studying painting and art history.
